There are those who dream, and those who do. The all-new Sport Trac is for those who choose to live their adventures. With a completely redesigned exterior, the sheer power of a new 4.6L-3V V8 engine and the versatility to take on mountains and motorways - this is the ultimate vehicle for high intensity fun. For Sport Trac drivers, there is never an off-season.

Power & Performance
	Engines. The Sport Trac offers two powerful engines to drive any and all adventures you will have on the road. The new 4.6L V8 is standard on Limited, available on XLT and offers 42% more available power than any previous model year with 292 horsepower and 300 lb.-ft. of torque.

	Transmission. Delivering improved performance, drivability and shift quality over previous years with its model-first 6-speed automatic transmission, Sport Trac will keep you running at full throttle all year round. The 6-speed automatic is featured only on the 4.6L V8 engine.

	Speed Sensitive Steering. To spark up Sport Trac’s handling, this feature reduces steering efforts yet maintains a firm, responsive feel whether you are maneuvering tight city corners, cruising highways, or taking on backwoods trails.

	Engine. Delivering improved performance, drivability and shift quality over previous years with its model-first 6-speed automatic transmission, Sport Trac will keep you running at full throttle all year round. The 6-speed automatic is featured only on the 4.6L V8 engine.

Capability & Versatility
	Towing. Every Sport Trac now comes complete with a standard Class II Trailer Tow package that can be upgraded to Class III/IV. With the new V8 engine, the 4x2 models boast a maximum tow capacity of 3084 kg (6800 lbs).* * When properly equipped; maximum towing capacity will vary based on passengers and cargo loads, and optional equipment installed on the vehicle. 	Frame. Using the same tube-through-tube construction as the F-150, Sport Trac features an all-new, fully-boxed frame that is 5 times stiffer than ever before. Increased towing capacity and improved ride and handling ensure you can revel in the journey, not just the destination.

	4-Wheel Drive. So you can really gear up for any and all escapades and get there with ease, new monotube shocks, larger brakes and available 4 wheel drive on XLT and Limited all help to make light work out of heavy terrain.

	Cargo Bed. For maximum versatility the Sport Trac cargo bed is a full 10 cms (3.9”) longer making it 26.7% larger with 1062 L (37.5 cu ft) of cargo space. It also has three standard in-floor drainable compartments: two for small items, and one for the tools of your trade-work or play.

Safety
	Advance Trac® AdvanceTrac® with RSC®, standard on every Sport Trac, is an electronic stability enhancement system which features a vehicle-roll motion sensor that directly measures the vehicle’s roll-rate at least 100 times every second to determine when and how it will utilize AdvanceTrac’s Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), traction control and yaw control to help keep all 4 wheels firmly planted.* Adaptive Multi-Load-Limiting Retractors. Adaptive multi-load-limiting retractors are capable of providing multiple levels of restraining force to help tailor the safety belt response to the specific needs of each occupant. 	Dual Stage Front Air Bags. Additional levels of air bag inflation are provided by incorporating a variable time delay between the 1st and 2nd stage output. Adaptive Passenger Air Bag Tether. Controls air bag shape and size to help improve occupant interaction. Adaptive Air Bag Venting. When activated, this unique safety feature diverts gas away from the air bag, offering occupants less forceful air bag inflation when required. Safety Canopy™ System This system features side curtain air bags that provide enhanced head protection for first - and second-row passengers in certain side-impact collisions. It also features roll-fold technology that enables the air bag to slip between the window and a passenger's head.

	Front Seat Side Air Bags. Mounted in the seat, these air bags help protect the torso and chest of the driver and front passenger in the event of a side collision. Advanced Restraints Module and Dual Front-Crash Sensors. A sophisticated system that processes information gathered from numerous crash sensors to determine the setting and deployment of each adaptive occupant restraint device. Driver Seat Position Sensor. Driver seat position is monitored to help determine air bag inflation, air bag venting, safety belt resistance and steering column energy absorption level. Adaptive Steering Column. A new steering column design provides two levels of energy absorption by allowing it to “stroke” forward at different levels of resistance.
